Remedy: Check and replace where necessary with quality assured material. Number of vehicles: 208.

Defect: Water in the inner sleeve area of the inner mounting metacone can corrode the rear engine mounting bolt of the TL11 so that it shears.

Remedy: Fit a nylon bush between metacone and mounting bolt to seal against water.

Build dates: June 1981 to April 1987. Defect: The angle of taper of the steering draglink ball joint pin is not compatible with the hole in the hole in the steering arm.

Remedy: Replace ball joint assembly.
