Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH AN EYE particularly on the construction and roadbuilding industries, Bedford is showing its 4x4 conversion of the CF van for the first time at Earls Court.

To achieve four-wheel drive the van uses a transfer box located behind a ZF five-speed gearbox and this incorporates a differential unit and viscous couple limited slip unit. Front-wheel drive is obtained using a Bedford rear axle differential modified to accept drive shafts and constant velocity joints.

The CF's original coil springs are replaced by tension bars and a Morse chain and short propshaft connect the front axle to the transfer box.

The conversion is suitable for the CF280 and 340 (with 3.2m (10ft 6in) wheelbases and the CF350 with 3.6m (lift 8in) wheelbase.
