Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Heavy goods vehicle driver training from scratch to Class I standard, and including conversion courses from rigid to articulated vehicles, are offered by Southern Motor Schools, of Crawley, Sussex.

The length of the course varies between five days for a rigid to artic conversion, to 15 days for a car driver to Class I standard. A five-day advanced hgv course is also offered.

The course syllabus not only covers driver training but , includes lectures on transport regulations; hours and records: load security and safety. including roping and sheeting; plating and testing regulations; and road traffic regulations.

Course fees are £50 per week for rigid vehicle training and £60 per week for Class I tuition. There are no hidden extras. If accommodation is required this can be arranged. The course instructors are RTITB-trained and have, themselves, taken the hgv driving test.
