Qo Tuesday. Mr. E. Redhead, Minister of State (Overseas) at the Board of Trade, officially launched for Vauxhall Motors Ltd. two mobile display vehicles that will be used for sales campaigns in Europe over the next two years. A third vehicle will be sent off in a few days and the three units will operate in different European countries. The aim is to promote still further the sales of Bedford commercial vehicles zind Vauxhall cars in the important LEC and EFTA markets.
The vehicles—Bedford TK 12-.ton tractive units and Taskers semi-trailers with bodies by Spurling of Hendon—cost over £14,000 each and have been designed as completely self-comained mobile shoWs.
