AS forecast in The Commercial Motor last we a new fuel filter is being introduced at Commercial Motor Show. Following an inten investigation into the requirements of a hii efficient filter by C.A.V., Ltd., London, W.3., company now announce the production of t' F type, in which paper is used as the filte; medium and is claimed to be four times IT efficient than the felt type.
It is compact and fits into the fuel line in usual way. The inlet and outlet connections carried on the cover, which also forms the mo; ing bracket. The bowl is of pressed steel and fo an oil-tight container for the paper element. ' paper is arranged in a series.of V-shaped poc: through which the fuel passes.
It is stated that a filter area six times gre than that of a cloth filter is obtained withi smaller bowl. A paper element will,be avail; for existing C.A.V. filters.
