DAF TRUCKS' National Dealer Apprentice Programme (NDAP) is among the winners in the National Apprentice Awards 2013. It was named winner of the Large Employer of the Year category in the Thames Valley regional final. Tony Shepherd, business services
manager at Daf Trucks, said winning the award was a reflection of the great work that goes into the programme.
"Apprentices are training to be highly skilled technicians providing support to our customers right across the national network of 134 Daf dealerships, and more than 25% of all our Master Technicians are ex-apprentices," he said.
Daf Trucks started its NDAP scheme in 1995 and more than 1,000 people have now completed the three-year course.
