• Datatrak has updated the in-vehicle locator unit for its tracking system so that it can be linked more easily to a truck's alarm or a reefer's temperature recording equipment, allowing the base station to be alerted of any danger.
The new device, Locator Two, is designed to inform the operating base that messages sent to the driver have been received.
Locator Two costs about 50% less than its predecessor through volume production, and it uses a third less power.
