FOUR apprentices from Soundwell Technical College were the winners at the final of the National Vehicle Trades Apprentice competition.
The competition, which is organised by the Road Transport Industry Training Board, has been running throughout the year in each of the Board's four regions.
The final was in two parts: a two-hour practical session and a theory session using the University Challenge format.
A team from Boudier Road (Belfast) Government Training Centre took second place.
