FORELINE PRODUCTS, a division of Aqua-Marine Mfg (UK) Ltd Southampton, has introduced a new electronic reversing warni device.

The device, the Back Sensor, works by emitting sound waves frt two transmitters mounted at the rear of the vehicle, Any obsta within the detector's range reflects the sound waves back to t vehicle and they are received by a sensor, also mounted on t vehicle. The time between the transmission and receipt of the sou waves is converted into a distance and this is displayed on the c control unit.

Once installed, the sensor begins to work automatically as soon reverse gear is engaged. Installation is simple and fast, SC Foreline, and occasional removal of dirt from the three re mounted sensors is the only routine maintenance required.
