Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I consider adequate for internal UK freight, I do not think that it is sufficient for the Convention on the Contract of International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) liability. Could you outline liability under CMR and advise on insurance coverage ?

Liability for loss or damage to goods being carried under the Convention Relative du Transport de Marchandise Par Route (CMR) is based on current market value of the goods subject to a limit of 25 gold francs per kilo (about £3,500 per ton). Compensation for delay, carriage and customs charges may also be payable. It is possible to accept a load without knowing it is under CMR Conditions. Therefore, you should ask your insurer to extend the existing cover to include CMR conditions and also when such a consignment is picked up unknowingly.
