Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Two more important routes were added to the Freightliner system on Monday, when direct services were introduced linking Hull and Southampton with Manchester and Liverpool. Their introduction brings the total number of Freightliner routes up to 60.

These new services, which are operating daily in each direction on Mondays to Fridays, provide overnight transits for domestic and maritime traffic in containers between these areas, providing next morning deliveries.

They are among the first services to be handled at the new Freightliner terminal at Trafford Park, Manchester, which came into operation on October 6, and at the expanded terminal at Garston, Liverpool.

Freightliner traffic is now running at the rate of 9.000 loaded containers a week and more than 700,000 have been handled since Freightliner operations began about four years ago.
