• Loughborough-based IMS (Industrial Machinery Supplies) is introducing additional and more comprehensive on-site training courses to ensure that mechanics are qualified to service air suspensions.
IMS is the sole SAF agent in the UK. Its new classes starting early next year, will embrace both theoretical instruction and practical training.
Subjects to be highlighted include: • suspension assembly, and maintenance; • axle/brake assembly and maintenance; • pneumatic valve identification; • pneumatic system piping; • adjustments and torque setting; and • fault finding.
On completion of each teachin, participants will be assessed for certificates.
