Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A magnificent collection of heavy haulage machinery was auctioned in County Durham last week, when Derek Pamaby decided to sell his ancient and varied fleet to concentrate in future on the manufacturing side of his business.

Two of the most interesting items on offer were a 1958 Rotinoff tractor unit, plated at 300 tonnes, and a 1929 Scammell showman's tractor. The sale, which was organised by Central Motor Auctions, attracted a large crowd from all over Europe.

Bargain basement settlements included a 1955 Scammell 6x6 tractor unit for restoration at £700, a solid-tyred Scammell drawbar trailer at £2,200 and a Scammell 6x4 still under warranty at £45,000.
