• Contract hire, auction and distribution group Wincanton has upped profits 18% to 211.2 million in the year to 30 September. Turnover has risen 19% to £222 million. Wincanton has two divisions directly in commercial vehicles: vehicle rental and distribution services. It also auctions and sells CVs through its National Car Auctions and Arlington Motor Holdings divisions.
