paints and coatings, has appointed Joe Hughes as sales director of the company, following the acquisition by TRI-Spray earlier this year of all the assets of hamar Contracting Equipment of Gateshead where Hughes was managing director. Hughes was managing director of Inmar from 1983 to 1988; before that he was a divisional director of International Paint. He is an ex-professional Scottish footballer, having played for Dunfermline, East Fife, Clydebank and Sterling Albion.
