A NEW "Thermostart" heac tank has been developed Lucas CAV to aid the cc starting of turbocharged die: engines. On these engines t build-up of manifold presst may prevent heat reaching t manifold and may lead to st ling and rough running at lc speeds when the engine cold.
To overcome the problem air-balance pipe is used on t new system to equalise pre: ure between the manifold a the header tank. The heaC tank is already in producti and further information can obtained from CAV Ele trical Equipment, Lucas CA Warpie Way, Acton, Lond, W3 7SS.
