In a plea for the whole transport industry to be covered by the Road Transport Industry Training Board, ,Kenneth Turner, the retiring chairman, said in a farewell message: "Rubber-tyred transport is one industry — its form of ownership . . . is irrelevant. If it is on rubber tyres it is all part of the same whole."
I shall expect the Board to be enlarged to take in representatives of cyclists and prampushers.
