Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WHEN I lost my psv badge a little while ago, I realised how wide open they are for misuse, There is nothing to stop a person picking one up off the street and going along to an operator and saying that he is a coach driver. Many operators do not ask to see the licence — just the badge. A man who holds a badge to drive a mini-bus can claim he is qualified to drive a 53-seat coach.

The present badge has been out for years and is, I feel, totally unsuitable for modern-day use.

My suggestion would be a badge the same shape as a credit card but a bit larger. Not only should it hold a badge number, but it should have the classification limit, the driver's name and also a photo of the holder. This, I feel, would give more protection to the public and operators alike.
