• The Transport Tribunal last week rejected what it termed "this quantitative approach" when, considering an appeal against the Scottish Licensing Authority's revocation of the 21-vehicle 0 licence held by Hutchison Brothers, of Boreland, By Dysart, it was argued that they were a partnership and only one had been convicted of the customs offence considered by the LA. "Looking at the merits of the whole case, it does not appear to us that the LA's decision, though extreme, was an unreasonable one," said the Tribunal. The appeal was therefore dismissed.
