A 'Lou do not state whether this is a plated vehicle. If it is then the maximum permissible gross weight will be shown on the plate attached to the vehicle.
If the wheelbase taken from the centre lines of the two outer axles is less than 18ft the gross vehicle weight must not exceed 20 tons. But if this wheelbase exceeds 18ft the permissible g.v.w. is 22 tons.
However, if it is an unplated vehicle then the gross laden weight must not exceed 20 tons.
