ENGINEERING co-operation between Rubery Owen and Co. Ltd. and RockwellStandard of America (now North American Rockwell) has been followed by formation of a joint company to operate world-wide in the trailer equipment field.
The UK company will hold a two-thirds share in Rubery Owen-Rockwell Ltd. and has re-formed its trailer equipment division as a base for the new activities. Trailer components from both RO and Rockwell have had common parts and some standardization; this will be increased, there will be joint research, and the provision of international spares and other facilities.
