Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BOLTON-BASED 3D Haulage is being wound up with an estimated shortfall to non-preferential creditors of more than £400,000, according to the liquidator. Begbies Traynor was appointed at the firm on 1 May, and creditors of the company are requested to get in touch by 1 July with details of their debt.

According to Vosa records, the firm traded out of a Runcorn operating centre and had authorisation for eight vehicles and eight trailers.

It shares the Lidl regional distribution depot with another company, 3D International Haulage, which also has the same directors, David and Dawn Dobson.

The traffic commissioner for the North West traffic area granted 3D International Haulage a variation to its licence in April. It is now authorised to operate 10 vehicles and 10 trailers.

CM was unable to contact either of the directors as we went to press. Begbies Traynor was unable to respond.
