Security is the paramount concern of the organisers. As well as the security checkpoints around the venues, there will be 98 vehicle permit checkpoints, 25 alone around UK football stadiums. These are in place to divert non-Olympic traffic away from the actual checkpoints to avoid bottlenecks.
The easier you can make it for officials to identify who you are, the shorter any delay will be. To that end drivers should have a delivery note (even if it’s in the form of a text detailing their next pick up) with them in their cab, as well as headed company paper stating they are employed by you, with contact details, etc. Their photo driving licence is also a must (as it is for the driver’s mate).
