Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Money and let ters are ideas still pouring in to sup port Commercial Motor's Wheel Loss Campaign.

Kenneth Webster of Barnsley in South York shire reckons that he has the answer to the problem -abolish the Government and EC directive stating that all CV wheel nuts and studs must be right-hand thread: "The more experienced truck drivers I have spoken to all say that in the old days with left-hand-thread wheel nuts, wheel loss was a rarer occurence," says Webster.

"If this is true, then the right-hand-thread rule makes no sense. The cost of converting back to left-hand-thread would not be prohibitive and would save many lives — not to mention a lot of money, time and frustration," he says.
