• Stratford-based Guide Friday's challenge on Oxford City sightseeing work has now emerged as 'The Oxford Classic Tour'.
Set up by Lothian Region Transport as a direct retaliation for Friday's incursion into Edinburgh tour work, the operation is managed locally by Teppins of Didcot and Heyfordian Travel.
Six Edinburgh open-toppers are based at Didcot and are crewed by locally recruited drivers and guides.
