• Braintree-based trailer builder Hoyner has supplied Mainland Car Deliveries of Cheshire with 10 car transporters, capable of carrying nine large or 12 small vehicles apiece. The trailers are pulled by MAN 17-262 4x2 units operating at 31 tonnes. Fifth wheels were supplied by VBG Dayton. Trailer compatibility demanded a coupling height of 1.4in, and a 4m bumper to king-pin position gives sufficient swing clearance and meets overall length restrictions.
