• A new 12-month truck rental service has been launched in South East England by BRS Truck Rental. It is called Contract 12.
The company claims the new service offers all the advantages of rental at cheaper rates than frequent short term rentals.
Vehicles ranging from one tonne vans to 38 tonnes triaxle tractive units will be avail able under Contract 12, which also provides standard support services such as membership of AA-BRS Rescue and the supply of a relief vehicle during routine maintenance.
The company says that Contract 12 rental rates should be over 30% less than normal rates.
If Contract 12 proves successful in the South-East, BRS Truck Rental plans to expand the service nationwide.
