'TIRE first of a series of three-axled 1 double decker 100 passenger chassis, built to the design of Mr. E. F. Gait, general manager of Johannesburg Municipal Tramways, is under construction in this country. This project %. as mentioned exclusively in the May 6, 1955, issue of The Commercial Motor.
The chassis are suitable for use as the bases for either trolleybuses or oilengined buses, and in the latter case a Rolls-Royce six-cylindered engine will he used. Gross running weight will be about 18 tons.
