DRIYERS are advised by Scotland Yard to avoid the section of the Western Avenue, London, west of Gypsy Corner. Work has started On the reconstruction of the carriageway; and sihgle-line working in each difection will become necessary with, later, a shuttle service over the -railway bridge half a mile west of Gypsy Corner.

Building is expected to continue for several months, and there are no routes available in the vicinity for diversions. Delays to traffic may be unavoidable.
