NORTHAMPTONSHIRE police are appealing for a truck driver who may have witnessed a fatal collision to come forward.
At 5.50arn on 16 March a blue Mercedes van collided with a blue Ford Escort car on the A6116 near Brigstock;the Escort driver died.
Officers are now seeking the driver of a white truck which stopped at the scene but left before police arrived. It is described as being a large rigid with British registration plates and orange writing or logo on the door.
The truck may have suffered minor damage, although it is not known if it was involved in this incident. After leaving the scene it continued its journey along the route towards the A14.
