Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

This vehicle, with an air-suspended drive axle and pulling a Kassbohrer triaxle trailer with air equalisation on steel suspension, rode very well at 40 tonnes GVW. There is very little cab nod even with the big cab on a 4x2 configuration. There was a fair amount of reaction to crosswinds on some exposed parts of the Autobalm, but not enough to make the MAN snake or worry the driver. In those cross winds, there was noticeable wind noise, and the poor conditions showed up the need for wipers on the heated mirrors. The conditions also highlighted an irritating feature of the programmed wash-wipe system: the very efficient wipers would clear the screen of washer fluid within a couple of sweeps, and then begin to smear the dry screen as they continued for several needless subsequent sweeps.

Overall, however, the 19.462 is a very impressive machine whose performance is made all the more remarkable by its understatement. It delivers its enormous power in a totally controllable manner, and while that power may be more than most British hauliers running at 38 tonnes would ever need, there will be justifiable disappointment in many quarters that the 19.462 is not yet scheduled to be offered in Britain.
