• Six of Britain's biggest independent bakers have formed a marketing consortium with a combined distribution fleet of 1,000 vehicles, covering most of England and Wales. Quality Bakers of Britain, aims to compete nationally with the two existing bakery giants, Allied and British Bakeries.
