SOURIAU'S Dieseltester allows fitters to check the fuel-injection system without having to break into the fuel line.
Using an injector pipe clamp working on the strain-gauge principle, fuel-pressure pulses are monitored to provide the reference datum during testing.
The equipment is portable and is powered by the 12V or 24V battery of the vehicle under test.
A substantial order has been placed by Scottish and New castle Breweries for use in its diesel car fleet.
