The chassis front overhang was reduced nd the entrance was located immediately ehind the front axle, the Northern ounties-bodied buses seating 70 passeners within an overall length of 27ft 6in. ater models were built with a squared-up .ont and accommodated a single-width itrance ahead of the axle for use on -m-o services.

This conversion is in line with West lidland PTE's policy to convert all its rvices to one-man operation, and the construction is shown in the adjoining totographs.
