AWHEEL nut wrench claimed to make child's play of tightening or loosening heavy vehicle wheel nuts has been introduced by E. F. Allchin, of Birmingham.
The tool operates on a planetary gear drive principle, with a ratio of 9 to 1, which enables the nuts to be tightened without use of the proverbial tube as an extension. This tool gives almost the same application as a power tool and would be useful on breakdown vehicles. It is supplied with five 3.25 in. square drive sockets, an extension bar, anchor arm and extension.
Made by: E. F. Allehin and Co. Ltd., 253 Bordersley Green, Birmingham 9.
Price: £30.
