DELIVERIES begin in April of the largestever Bedford-Hawson "Easy Access" van. It is based on the Bedford 33L (161 in. wheelbase) chassis modified for forward control. The capacity of this new addition to the Bedford-Hawson van range is 700 cu. ft., the gross vehicle weight is 6.70 tons and the payload, 3.9 tons.

It can be supplied with either the Bedford 214 Cu. in. 6-cylinder petrol or 220 Cu. in. 4-cylinder diesel engine. Total recommended price with the former is £1,364; and £1,474 with the latter. A range of optional extra-cost equipment is available which includes heavy duty tyres, rear shock-absorbers, interior bulkheads, bumper-combined step, interior grabhandles, arid roll-up shutter doors.
