AN ORDER for 36 Daimler Roaclliner rearengined single-deck buses ,has been placed by the Municipal Tramways Trust of Adelaide, South Australia, through Daimler's distributors, Rasch Motors (SA) Pty. Ltd., Adelaide. All will be fitted with Australian bodies.
Five will have air suspension and the rest Metalastik toggle-link rubber suspension. All will have Cummins V6 9.63 litre engines developing 192 b.h.p. at 2,600 r.p.m. and Allison MT41 automatic gearboxes.
