RE Belgian bus manufacturer an Hoot and Sons has signed an agreement with Vauxhall Motors Ltd. for the exclusive construction of four types of complete coaches for sale in Belgium and Luxembourg.
'Employing Bedford running units, the coaches will range from 22to 53-seat vehicles and will be built at the Koningshooikt factory, near Antwerp.
Van Hoot is well known for construction of bus and coach bodies, employing a significant amount of mass production.
Regular customers include American Express, Cook, Cosmos, Europabus and Gateway. A target of more than 1,200 vehicles has been set for this year, including industrial vehicles which have recently become a new field of activity.
