THE PROPOSAL to lease Glasgow's municipal transport undertaking to the Scottish Bus Group is unlikely to be taken any further until the results of the Greater Glasgow transportation study are known.
A trade union delegation representing the undertaking's 7,000 workers has been told this by the corporation's majority Labour Party group.
Minus to Plus: West Hartlepool faces a transport department deficit of £23,000 this year despite its May 1 fares increase. But it expects a £8,000 surplus for 1967-68.
