Zetros lifts off
THE MERCEDES-BENZ Zetros, not expected n the UK until later In the year, made a surprtse debut at the Vertikal Days lifting equipment show at Haydock Park. The 18-tonner was a demonstrator from the Danish Time International company, carrying its latest Versafift VST-6000-MHI aerial working platform. The version on show is fully insulated and has two working buckets, allowing operation on live 69,000V cables at a height of 20.1m and a maximum outreach of 11.9m. It was sold off the stand to a utility company in southern Germany.
