Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Mr Gill seems to have overlooked the fact that he does employ union members, so he could send them to drive coaches for National Travel — unless they stipulate which union they belong to.

Of course it MA Y interfere with their full-time occupations, that is employees of the Cornwall County Council, one employed at the Bodmin Comprehensive School in the English Department, a member of the NAS. The other gentlemen, whom I have not met, apparently drives from the Wadebridge area to the St Austell Centre for Further Education, and I understand this is a normal daily task for him. He then teaches for the day and returns with the contract bus in the evening.

Perhaps if Mr Gill was to employ sufficient full-time personnel to cover most of his commitments, he might have more members of staff to join unions.

B. C. WILLIS, Director, Willis Central Garage Ltd, Bodmin.
