He has been a haulier for 53 years

The take-over also includes two.associated companies-.1. Webster (Bradford), Ltd„ and Blythe and Berwick (Sales and Repairs), Ltd. The latter's activities have been confined for some years to the servicing and repair Of associated companies' vehicles.

The three companies will now operate as one branch of the Road Haulage Executive, the fleet comprising 55 vehicles. The same staff will continue to function under the management of Mr. Harold Goodwin, F.C.I,S., director, and secretary, of Blythe and Berwick, Ltd. Mr. Goodwin has been chairman of the" Road Haulage Association's Bradford sub-area for the past five years.

Mr. Philip Blythe Was a pioneer . of coach and bus operation in Bradford.
