Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRL has its own accident research team that sometimes joins the police at the scene but, more typically works from a database of thousands of case files. The crash data process is similar, and it's one that operators with appropriate information can contribute to, because statistics yield specific accident types.

TRL identifies the problem, designs a solution, and tests it. The team then returns to the data to do a cost benefit analysis. If all goes well, it's suggested to regulators and if accepted, TRL monitors ft in the field to ensure everything works. An example of such a development is front underrun protection.
