• Wm Cory and Son Ltd has acquired Archbold Storage Ltd, of Leeds, for around Archbold Storage, a private company, distributes merchandise throughout Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Midlands. Two large warehouses in South Yorkshire and a transport fleet of over 40 vehicles are involved. Mr J. W. Fearnley, the managing director, will remain with the company.
It is stated that this acquisition does not in any way involve the other companies within the Archbold Group, that is freightage, shipping, and air-freight companies, which will continue to operate as previously.
