Licensing Authority at Carlisle last week a B licence for a six-wheel tipper was granted to F. Brown (Thursby) Ltd. Because of an objection from Seymour Bros. (Stanley) Ltd., the licence excluded site preparation work.
Mr. W. Borthwick, of Wigton, was granted a short-term licence for delivery to farms in Cumberland until his application could be republished. An A licence was granted to Blue Band Motors, of Carlisle, and A and B licences to J. Johnson and Co. Ltd., of Westlinton.
