1] THE GIRLING PARCELCAR.

Load. H.P. Drive. Price.

5 cwt. 6 Cardan 105-120 (a)*

(a) Complete vehicle according to body and finish.

" Six examples staged at Olympia.

Six well-finished models of the latest water-cooled type are shown on this stand. We described the constructional features of these machines in our issue dated the 26th June last, Each of the models shown at Olympia is intended for a different. form of usage, of which possibly the most interesting is the manner in which a 20 ft. telescopic ladder is mounted on the ?ear of the little three-wheeler. The b-ody can quickly be converted for ambulance use, and this machine should make a strong appeal to the small country town and village where the high initial outlay ren ders larger plant prohibitive. A second model which will create interest is that designed for the service of a milliner or dressmaker. The body of this machine is fitted with a large-sized glass panel, on which iliffeKent anrouncements adver-.:ising the owner's bosiness can be oracle from day to clay. The commercial traveller's motor, fitted

with a detachable body which can be removed in a. few moments, is an attractive machine, which is capable of carrying a load of five cwt., in addition to the driver. This should_ meet with a ready sale. Several, interesting constructional features are incorporated in this maker's models. An attempt to display these prominently is made by means of a highly-finished engine, and by a back axle and drive, shown in section, which are mounted in front of the Girling stand. With prices ranging between -£105 and Eno, these machines should meet with a very favourable reception.

It. is not without interest to note that time maker is now fitting pneumatic tires to the rear A...heels as standard. Timis course tuts been adopted owing to the tendency on the part of the user to allow solid tires to wear down to a point where the rubber was practically nonexistent.
