Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FAIRFUELUK (FFUK) has called on its supporters to redouble their efforts as it attempts to ramp up the pressure on the government to cut fuel duty in 2013.

After a recent meeting of the campaign's major backers, FFUK founder Peter Carroll told CMthat the group would adopt a two-pronged attack this year.

The first part will see it put the government under pressure to issue a formal response to a report, produced by the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, that FFUK delivered ahead of the chancellor's Autumn Statement last year.

"The report has demonstrated that a cut would not cost the Treasury as much as it thinks, and would boost economic activity. We'll be pushing hard for a minimum 3ppl cut," Carroll said.

The second part is to maintain the campaign's momentum. "We have 348,000 people signed up, but it's imperative this number keeps growing. I urge all [supporters] to email contacts, colleagues and friends and get them to sign up too," he said.

The news came as1,I,UK celebrated the recruitment of a major new backer, the Association of Pallet Networks (APN). Revealed by Commercialmotor. corn last week, the deal builds on Palletline's existing support for the campaign, and sees Fortec, Pallet-Track, Palletforce, Palletways, TPN, and UPN join the fight for a fairer deal on fuel.

APN joins the Road Haulage Association, the Freight Transport Assocation, RAC, The Fuelcard Company and Aldermore as main campaign sponsors.
