the engine feels strong and unstressed at 44 tonnes, and the cab has remained abusefree during its first life. It's hard to believe that this truck is well into its fifth year, and with the current shortage of highquality three-year-old wagons something like this makes a fine alternative, Residual values for lateyear products are now higher than book values and that will continue well into 2008, making MAN's price tag an accurate reflection of the market. There were a lot of disappointed operators when the last 'real' ERE, the composite-cabbed ECX, was replaced by the badgeengineered ECT —but it had a lot of positives too.
This example has aged well and still looks fresh. There will be plenty of ECTs coming through MAN's Top-Used programme so you should be able to find one that meets your needs while keeping the Union Jack
