COMMERCIAL MOTOR'S stablemate Motor Transport has launched its 2008 awards you have until 28 March to enter.

There are 17 categories this year, a mixture of new and well established. These include: Fleet Engineer of the Year. Haulier of the Year, the Environment Award, International Operator of the Year. Innovation Award. Best Use of Technology and the Low Carbon & Efficiency Award.

For information on how to enter, how the awards are judged, and how to book tables for the presentation dinner go to www. mtawards.co.uk. But remember, the deadline for entries is 28 March.

The Awards shortlist will be announced in late spring; the winners will be revealed on 2 July during the traditional black tie dinner in the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.

MT editor Justin Stanton says: "The Motor Transport awards reward excellence across the industry. No matter how big or small a business is, if it is a class leader we seek to reward it."
