Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FLYOVER SHUT DOWN • The Marylebone flyover on the A40(M) Westway in West London will be closed until February 21, Junior Transport Minister Peter Bottomley has urged lorry, coach and bus drivers to steer clear of the Marylebone area while the work to replace one of the joints goes ahead.

Bottomley says the work is an essential piece of maintenance that has to be done now without any traffic on the flyover. About 350 million vehicles have used the flyover since it opened 20 years ago.

Drivers are urged to put off their journey or travel by public transport, and businesses can help by re-scheduling their deliveries outside busy periods.

Drivers who have to be in the area should use the signposted alternative routes, says Bottomley.
